Zoo Zurich - Switzerland

Zoo Zurich, a long standing Toshiba customer, uses Toshiba B-SA4T printers, for its range of entrance tickets to the Zoo. The Zoo uses a variety of pre-printed ticket rolls, showing different animal motifs, created to look like genuine photos in a range of colours. At the POS variable data such as date, price and ticket category are printed on the ticket with the Toshiba printer. With the printer's top loading functionality, employees can change rolls at the POS fast and easily. So even in rush hours on Sundays and bank holidays, the waiting time at the entrance is minimised for visitors. The user firendly Toshiba B-SA4T is compact and ergonomically friendly, ideal for small spaces, like the Zoo admissions office. 

EROTICA - UK

Toshiba's high-speed ticketing solution, saves costs, improves efficiency, whilst producing superior quality tickets, for the UK's largest trade show, Erotica. Using the Toshiba B-SA4T solution, with a duty cycle of 8,000 tickets per day, tickets can be printed overnight and are ready in the morning for posting to customers. A task that would have taken over 10 days and 80 man hours can now be done overnight unsupervised. Given the improved solution both n terms of quality, realiability and speed of output, Erotica would have expected a return on investment over a number of years, however the cost of the tota solution including hardware and consumables was much cheaper than the cost of the pre-printed ticketing stock used for the previous years show.
